LINK-IT
Technical Specifications

Directivity Pattern
Beamwidth of directivity pattern: approximately 90° (-6 dB)
Free-field AI-DI of LINK-IT = 8 dB (st.dev. 0.2 dB)
Average AI-DI measured on KEMAR® = 7 dB
Direct out sensitivity = 60 dBV for 0.1 Pa, 1kHz

Transmission
Wireless by induction
Switch set to BTE: 2-10 A/m for typical BTE hearing aid telecoil positions
Switch set to ITE: 2-4 A/m for typical hearing aid telecoil positions at 1.2"
(vertical telecoil orientation required)
Gain Adjust: 20 dB variation of fieldstrength

Microphone Noise
30 dB SPL equivalent (A-weighted)

Battery
#10 hearing aid battery
Current drain: 0.4 mA
Battery life: Approximately one month
(based on estimated daily use of 4 hours)

Frequency response through typical BTE T-coil

Calibration and Sensitivity
The LINK-IT uses a signal processing scheme that is different from the dual-omni microphone method that electrically subtracts signals and requires careful matching of the microphones. Sensitivity mismatch in amplitude or phase of the LINK-IT results in an AI-DI change of < 0.4 db. This means that microphone matching is not necessary and that there will be insignificant changes in array sensitivity over time.
