Problem: The earphones seem to lack bass.
Solution: Check eartip seal. A good eartip seal is critical. For the fullest frequency response:

  • try inserting the eartips slightly deeper to obtain a better seal; or
  • try other flanged or foam eartips for a better seal.

Problem: One earphone sounds weak.
Solution: Weak sound is usually caused by a blocked filter.

  1. Locate the filter changing tool.
  2. Remove the filter. See About the Filters.
  3. Listen to the sound output to determine if the problem is solved.
  4. Replace the old filter with a new one. See About the Filters.

Solution: Charge the earphones.

  1. Press/hold the PLAY/PAUSE on the R earphone until LED blinks rapidly. (Approx. 10 seconds)
  2. Turn on iPod, select a song, and press PAUSE on iPod.

  4. Place the adapter and R earphone next to each other. When LEDs on both units are solid green, the user should be able to hear music. This may take up to one minute.

Problem: The earphones are uncomfortable.
Solution 1: Change eartip size and/or change earphone position.
Solution 2: Rotate earphones in ears for best fit and comfort.
Solution 3: Switch L and R earphones to opposite ears.

  3. Within 2 seconds:
    1. Press/hold PREVIOUS/rewind
