Q: Who can adopt a band?
A: Anyone who is 18 years of age of older. Sponsors are typically parents, booster clubs, teachers, band members or supporters from the community.Q: Is Adopt-A-Band only for high school bands?
A: No. Supporters can adopt any type of music group, including a neighborhood rock band. The goal is to protect hearing, so supplying earplugs and information is not limited.Q: Is Adopt-A-Band expensive?
A: Not at all. You can sponsor 10 musicians for only $60. (Level 1)Q: If I choose a certain sponsorship level, do I have to buy the same number of ETY•Plugs every time?
A: Once you sponsor a band, you may purchase additional ETY•Plugs in any quantity at the same discounted price.Q: Can I sell these earplugs?
A: ETY•Plugs purchased through this program are intended for band members; however, Etymotic Research does have a fundraising program with specific guidelines for groups with non-profit status.
